Macraes Gold Mine open day
We all went along to the Macraes Gold mine open day on Sunday, a very rare occurrence as you had to pre- apply and be accepted rather than just show up type of event.
Went with my cameras to look at the working of this modern gold mine and open cast pit, man its huge.
Lots of folk there all standing up in front of my lens - dah!, hard to shoot due to the midday sun but spent time looking for angles and odd view points rather than good newspaper shots.
